In response to a number of queries on the forum regarding to use of swearing on the forum, we would like to clear up that the Boys In Maroon policy stands as the following:

1. Boys In Maroon do not tolerate blatant swearing as we have users of all ages accessing this forum. Any such postings will either be edited or removed by the mods, depending on content. Any such post's should be reported to the moderators.

2. The use of swearing is still possible. We do allow the use of swear words if important letters are edited out. For example, 'f**k' and 'sh*t' are acceptable however the use of similiar looking symbols such as '@' for 'A' in words instead of stars is not allowed. This is where your common sense and the use of subtle editing techniques should be applied. Posts that do not fit these requirements shall also be edited or removed depending on their content.

Please be warned that if a member continues to ignore any warnings given, then their account shall be suspended followed by a ban should their postings not improve.

We completly understand that swearing is used in modern adult life however it is our strong belief that swearing should not be exposed to minors on this forum. This policy will not change.
