Hi all smile.gif
New here from Toronto. Hearts has been a very odd story for me. Grew up 1/2 in Canada , 1/2 in S. america in an obsessed football family. I never managed to connect with any club (even the family club) too much. But it wasn't until 1995-96 when I came back from S. america (was about 10), somehow they were showing the SPL and I saw my first hearts game.
After that, I happened to meet a friend who's family was fanatical for the jambos. After closely following the club with them throughout 97-98, I fully became a supporter and have been supporting them closeley since.

That's my hearts story in a nut shell smile.gif (a condensed one biggrin.gif)

Hey guys.
I posted here a few months ago....but after a few stressful and odd couple of months (where i ended up in the US), I finally have time to settle down and start posting (hopefully) regularly).
So again, great to be here biggrin.gif

(Im from Toronto btw. Been a hearts supporter ever since I was about 10 years old (when a Scottish family introduced me to their club). Though I do have a family club (having been born in South america), I really fell for hearts and started to follow them and frequently watch their games and following the seasons closely in futbol pubs since then. In 05/06 i pretty much went crazy and bought the hearts world package just to listen in to the games monthly happy.gif

Anywho. Good to be here smile.gif

Hi JLV and welcome.

My advice for avatars is to find any picture you like online and host it at imageshack.us
There you can resize it for avatars (or whatever else you need it for) and you can link to it for your avatar from "my controls" wink.gif

Alright!

Hello everyone. I'm from a wee town of just over 170,000 people called Rancho Cucamonga, California. Just a hop skip and some bumper to bumper traffic away from Los Angeles. My Grandfather was born and lived in Edinburgh and always mentioned Hearts when I was growing up so they've always been in my mind and I've followed them for some time now.

I must confess to all that I am an avid Chelsea supporter...whew...forgive me. Got that dark secret off of my chest. smile.gif Forget the Blues Brothers "connection," when it comes to Scotland I'm maroon through and through.

It was difficult for me growing up in the States to get any coverage of football from overseas, and it's so amazing to see how popular it has grown to be in this country and particularly in my area. There are countless pubs around now to choose from. Sadly on mornings where HMFC play Celtic or Rangers (because that's the only time I can watch us play) I am the only maroon in the building. smile.gif

Anyways. Hello again and thanks for taking the time to read.

When I was last over in nov, we beat Rangers at Tyney.

Shall I put my voodoo on the Tic?

I'm coming over at the end of may. biggrin.gif
